Almost 40 years ago, Paul Burchell created Electrodry, a carpet cleaning company with a difference. Paul worked with chemists in the USA to develop a dry-cleaning process that could achieve remarkably clean carpets without leaving wet floors behind.
Over the years, Electrodry has grown to become a national enterprise with more than 140 franchisees nation-wide. Electrodry technicians are professionally trained and accredited, performing over 100,000 services per year.

The Electrodry jingle and name is well known both in Newcastle and across the country, and Paul, along with his two sons are still involved in the company.
